Founded in 1947, Hotai Motor has been shaping the mobility industry for over 77 years. Initially established as a trading company, we progressively secured exclusive distribution rights for world-renowned automotive brands, becoming the first-ever distributor of Toyota in an overseas market and later expanding to Lexus and Hino. Additionally, we serve as the distributor of Yokohama tires in Taiwan, offering customers a seamless, one-stop service ecosystem with comprehensive after-sales support. Listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) in 1997 under stock code 2207. As global energy challenges and rising fuel costs continue to impact the automotive industry, Hotai Motor has remained at the forefront of sustainability. In 2006, we took the lead in introducing Toyota’s Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) to Taiwan, featuring cutting-edge eco-friendly technology. Years of advocacy and consumer education have driven widespread adoption, fostering a growing demand for localized production. Beyond hybrid technology, the premium Lexus, Toyota passenger vehicles, and Toyota/Hino commercial vehicles we distribute are recognized for their superior quality and industry-leading after-sales service. For 22 consecutive years, we have held the No.1 market share in Taiwan, setting new standards in automotive excellence. Looking ahead, Hotai Motor is actively pioneering Mobility as a Service (MaaS), redefining the transportation landscape and unlocking new possibilities in the future of mobility.
